Welcome to my Takarazuka Revue Spectacular! image galleries.  What is Takarazuka Revue?  The all-female Takarazuka Revue was founded in Japan.  Since 1914, the Revue has provided fantastic musical productions.  Both the male and female roles are performed by women.  There are five performing troupes, or kumi that make up the Takarzuka Revue: "Flower" (Hana), "Moon" (Tsuki), "Snow" (Yuki), "Star" (Hoshi) and "Cosmos" (Sora).  Each troupe offers exiting shows throughout the year, with elaborate costumes, lighting and stage design.  My site focuses on printed material of the Takarazuka Revue, such as books, magazines and programs.  I also include headband and facial hair image galleries of the male performers, or otokoyaku.  If you're looking for more information about the Takarazuka Revue, please visit my links section.  Thanks for visiting.
